I much prefer writing reviews about poor meals and bad service. Not through any sort of vindictive evilness, but I enjoy offering genuine feedback and giving restaurants the chance to improve. Establishments which offer a good meal are much harder to talk about with less opportunity for witty comments which entertain readers so much.So this is a straight up review. Gilmour’s is a good place.

This was a bit of an impromptu visit, so please forgive the lack of photos. This local Argentinian came recommended by a few people, so we were fairly excited to taste. We are both big fans of Gaucho so I guess Santa Maria del Sur had a lot to live up to. Unfortunately it didn't quite meet the grade.

I was very excited about my visit to The Anchor and Hope as it came very recommended by shunafish . So what better than a romantic meal out with the other half on Friday night. Good food and amazing company surely can't fail to satisfy? |
